Skydomes may be used to customize the appearance (and, in some cases, the background music) of the Toy Box. Some are provided by default, some can be unlocked via the Toy Store or during game play, and others are accessed via Hexagonal Power Discs. They can be changed using they Sky Changer Creativi-Toy. They can also be paired with Textures and other items to create Themes.

Notes:

  • While Skydomes unlocked via Play Set Games in earlier Editions could be unlocked via the Toy Store in later Editions, those unlocked via Hexagonal Power Discs can only be unlocked with the physical disc.
  • If a Creativi-Toy is linked to a Sky Changer for a particular Skydome, that Skydome can be selected that way later, even if it is from a Hexagonal Power Disc that has since been removed from the Disney Infinity Base, as long as the link between the Creativi-Toy and Sky Changer is neither changed nor deleted.

Glitch[]

There was a "glitch" in Disney Infinity 2.0 where, if a Logic Builder was placed in the Toy Box, it would randomly place and link Sky Changers and other Creativi-Toys (usually a trigger of some type) in pairs that would cause a Skydome to be selected that the player didn't otherwise have access to. This made it possible to follow the Logic Builder around, waiting for a particular Skydome to be selected, and then remove the Logic Builder and all other Creativi-Toys, leaving only the linked pair that selects the desired Skydome, and saving the Toy Box for later use.
